Position: Intern in Procurement – Packaging

Location: Eppelheim. Duration: May 1st, 2026 to December 31st, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Support packaging procurement (foils, cardboard, closures, straws, tertiary packaging), including data collection, quotation analysis, and supplier comparisons
• Prepare and analyze RFQs, cost structures, and supplier benchmarks
• Contribute to packaging projects (e.g. cost reduction, sustainability initiatives, material changes), including sample coordination and documentation
• Maintain master data, supplier information, price lists, and contract overviews
• Contribute to AI workflows and use cases in Procurement as well as documentation of processes, guidelines, and best practices
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Global Procurement, including preparation of presentations and decision papers for management

Your Profile

• Ongoing or finished studies in Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or similar
• Strong analytical skills and confident use of Excel and PowerPoint
• Interest in packaging materials, sustainability, procurement, and AI-driven optimization
• Affinity for digital tools and AI applications
• Very good English skills (written and spoken); German is an advantage
• Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
• Initiative, curiosity, and strong willingness to learn
