A day in a life of an International Customer Sales Analyst (m/f/d)

  • Key Account Support: As an International Customer Sales Analyst (f/m/d), you support the team by creating targeted analyses that make it easier to prepare international negotiations in the discount segment. This gives you valuable insights into international sales.
  • Customer Potential Analyses: You assess the potential of our international discount customers across more than 25 countries and deliver important insights that help the team make well‑founded decisions.
  • Report Development: Together with Sales Controlling, you develop clear and meaningful reports – including in Power BI, which you use confidently.
  • Ad-hoc Analyses: You approach spontaneous questions analytically. Whether it's KPI tracking or variance analyses, you bring structure to data and make complex topics easy to understand.
  • Sales Argumentation: Your results serve as the basis for concrete recommendations on how we position ourselves in sales. You also prepare customer meetings, contributing actively to the team’s success.
  • Assortment & Placement Optimization: You support the ongoing development of our assortments and product placements in the international market and help the team position our products in the best possible way.

What will make you successful

  • Degree & Initial Experience: You have successfully completed your studies in business administration or a comparable field and already gained initial experience in sales – ideally in the FMCG environment.
  • International Communication: Fluent English is a must, as you regularly communicate with international stakeholders and navigate confidently in a global environment. Knowledge of German and / or other languages is a plus.
  • Analytical Strength: Numbers, data, and analyses are where you feel at home. You recognize patterns, draw the right conclusions, and work in a structured way.
  • Customer Understanding: You have a good sense of the needs of international customers and can quickly adopt different perspectives.
  • Drive & Resilience: High motivation, initiative, and resilience are among your strengths – you want to make an impact and enjoy getting involved.
  • Digital Skills: Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, are part of your toolkit. In addition, confident use of Power BI is essential for this role.

This position is compensated according to the collective agreement. Based on your relevant experience and qualifications, the annual salary (on a full‑time basis) for this role is at least 63 thousand euros gross.
