Internship Materials Management (Technical Fleet Management)

Aufgaben:

Welcome to the world of aviation! Analyze consumption data, forecast material requirements and optimize supply chain processes. Ensure maximum material availability, reduce costs and develop solutions that keep our fleet reliably in the air - efficient, smart and future-oriented.

Our department is responsible for the overall operational material planning and purchasing, systemic material recording and ensuring material availability and is therefore of central importance for the operations of Lufthansa Airlines.

Your tasks:

• Documentation and continuous improvement of material procurement processes based on analyses of consumption history and anticipated future material requirements
• Material preparation for base maintenance and modification campaigns
• Definition and optimization of supply processes, target and reorder levels for aircraft spare parts
• Identification of potential for cost reduction
• You take an online test (within 10 days)

Qualifikation:

• You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
• Enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and
• Enjoy working in an agile environment
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner
• Creativity in the development of solutions to problems
• Ability to present complex issues precisely
