About our client

Our client is a fast‑growing company in the energy and infrastructure sector, backed by an international investment firm. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position where you’ll contribute directly to the company’s growth journey.

What the job involves

Work directly with the management team on a broad range of initiatives to drive organic and inorganic growth.
Focus on a mix of operational strategy and acquisition‑driven projects.
Support identification and execution of add‑on acquisitions (target screening, financial modelling, due diligence coordination, and deal execution).
Assist in strategic development of the business, including market analysis, performance tracking, and integration planning.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including advisors and the investment firm.
Prepare materials for board and shareholder communication.

Who we are looking for

First full‑time experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to energy and infrastructure transactions, or comparable experience within a private equity fund or PE‑backed portfolio company.
Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field.
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, coupled with commercial intuition.
A hands‑on, low‑ego personality who thrives in a small team environment and is eager to roll up their sleeves.
Strategic thinker, able to persuade through evidence‑based conviction.
Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent English and German language skills.
