Mediobanca is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst 1 to join our M&A Advisory team in Frankfurt. As a member of our team, you will work in an international environment alongside our M&A Advisory professionals, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the M&A process and deal exposure on an international level. Based in Frankfurt, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial statement analyses, valuations, and develop financial models
• Perform due diligence, research, analyses, and documentation for the origination and execution of transactions
• Prepare client presentations, deal memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials
• Conduct company and industry analyses, and create detailed overviews
• Participate in client meetings and management sessions
• Support client relationship development by understanding clients' needs and challenges
• Monitor and analyze financial markets and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations

Requirements

• Previous internship experience within M&A advisory and/or related fields
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team under tight deadlines and handle pressure with attention to detail
• Outstanding academic record (bachelor's or master's degree from a top-tier university/business school), with preference for a degree in accounting, economics, or finance
• Strong analytical, accounting, and numerical skills
• Proven ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
• Very good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent written and spoken German & English are essential
