Investment Operations Specialist (m/w/d) - Portfolio & Loan Data Management

Your mission

Your Mission As an Investment Operations Specialist (m/f/d), you are a key pillar in the management of selected client portfolios in a dynamic, service-oriented environment. You navigate confidently between precise data entry and processing as well as the operational handling of investments across various asset classes. At the interface between clients, operations and data management, you are responsible for the diligent maintenance and quality assurance of financial instruments in our core system eFront – with a particular focus on loan processing. Through your solid understanding of processes, data flows and the specificities of the private capital industry, you directly contribute to the quality of our services and the satisfaction of our clients.

Your tasks

Portfolio & Master Data Management

• Management of client portfolios for selected clients
• Creation and review of master data for investments within the managed client portfolios across all relevant asset classes (Private Equity, Private Debt, Fund Investments, where applicable Real Estate) in our core system eFront

Transaction Processing & Payment Handling

• Entry and/or import of target investment transactions with a particular focus on the detailed data capture and processing of loans in our core system eFront, including the recording of valuations
• Support in payment processing for existing target investments within the managed client portfolios

Quality Assurance & Data Management

• Execution of quality assurance measures, both on a regular basis and on an ad hoc basis as required
• Independent clarification and reconciliation of data discrepancies in the event of differences with external sources

Coordination & Process Optimization

• Close collaboration with other teams within the Operations division (e.g. the Accounting team) to find swift solutions in the case of procedural or technical particularities
• Active contribution to the ongoing optimization of processes in eFront and other Operations tools

Your Qualifications (not all criteria need to be met)

• Successfully completed training as a bank clerk, investment fund clerk or financial accountant, or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Finance, Business Administration or similar
• Solid professional experience in the financial services industry, in particular with hands‑on and demonstrable experience in loan data entry and processing
• Ideally, working knowledge of common investment management systems (eFront, Investran, SimCorp Dimension, etc.) or experience in the middle or back office of a fund administrator, KVG or asset manager
• Knowledge of various asset classes and their relevant instruments, ideally in the private capital industry (specifically in the area of Private Debt / Corporate Loans) is a strong advantage
• Confident use of MS Office applications, particularly Excel

Language Skills

• Very good English skills
• German skills are a plus
