IoT Systems Architect

Role Summary

Design and implement end‑to‑end IoT solutions, including device firmware, connectivity protocols, edge computing, data pipelines, and cloud analytics for industrial, smart building, healthcare, and consumer applications.

Architect systems for scale, security, and reliability, selecting and integrating platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, and Google Cloud IoT. Define device communication standards (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN) and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design of scalable, secure, and compliant IoT ecosystems that link physical hardware with cloud‑native AI services.

Drive ESG‐aligned initiatives, optimizing energy consumption across thousands of industrial nodes and managing AI Act compliance.

Collaborate with embedded engineering, data science, and regulatory affairs teams within the Global Systems Architecture Group.

VP of Engineering

Working Conditions

Travel Required: 15%. Standard business hours with flexibility; occasional coordination with APAC/US time zones.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional visits to industrial sites (requires wearing standard PPE).
