You will operate in a dynamic and agile environment with a 60/40 hybrid model and modern offices in Ratingen.

Responsibilities

Analyze the existing system and infrastructure landscape and design technical changes for new software and hardware solutions.
Design, plan, and implement infrastructure technology solutions and ensure sustainable integration into the existing architecture.
Manage and continuously develop existing IT services and advise other IT units; evaluate alternative technologies and identify optimization potential to align architectural decisions with strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain the company‑wide Asset Classification Methodology (CIAA) and ensure consistent application while taking security and compliance requirements into account.
Ensure end‑to‑end and consistent asset inventory management across all infrastructure components; provide architectural support for the further development of CMDB structures.
Assess IT assets for protection requirements and translate these requirements into technical architecture and design decisions.
Advise IT teams on classification, protection requirements, and dependencies within the infrastructure; support implementation of regulatory requirements such as NIS2 or DORA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable education or training in IT.
Relevant experience operating complex, heterogeneous server and application server infrastructures and managing external service providers.
Hands‑on experience operating ITSM system landscapes.
Experience assessing IT assets and identifying technical protection requirements in order to translate them into architectural or design decisions.
Knowledge of structured asset classification models in the context of NIS2, DORA, or ISMS and a strong understanding of interdependencies between architecture, asset inventory management (CMDB), CIAA classification, and their impact on operations, compliance, and security design.
Fluent German and very good English skills.
