As an IT Auditor Internal Audit (f/m/d), you will be part of a ten-person team responsible for group-wide IT audits and will play an important role in our Group Audit department. In your work, you will focus on the smooth running of our IT processes and advise our specialist departments on topics such as IT security and IT risk assessment.

Your contribution to WIR

• Independent planning and execution of risk-oriented IT audits, including agreeing and monitoring any necessary corrective measures
• Process investigation and assessment with regard to the regularity, security, economy, and effectiveness of internal control and management systems.
• Acting as a contact person for a wide variety of IT projects and providing support for the management of IT systems within the Group Audit department.
• Preparing and coordinating audit reports.
• Conducting cross-functional process audits in audit teams
• Conducting audits at IT service providers

What we are looking for

• Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics or information management
• Relevant certification (CISA, CISM, or CIA) is an advantage
• Ideally, practical experience in the IT sector, IT security, or internal auditing
• Knowledge of the insurance sector and/or auditing experience is advantageous
• Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
• Very good ability to structure and clearly describe complex issues in German
• Strong social skills, communication skills, and team spirit, as well as independence, flexibility, and solution-oriented creativity
