IT Database Manager (m/w/d)

We are currently hiring for IT Database Manager (m/w/d) for permanent position in Haar.

A role is responsible for the development and maintenance of bespoke applications and services centered around FWW’s data offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of new applications and APIs – code new web-based solutions and APIs based on clients’ specific requirements.
• Ongoing maintenance of existing solutions – maintain existing solutions including code rewrites/updates to new standards as well as customer-initiated change requests, rebrands, etc.
• Development of the core FWW infrastructure – build and update the core FWW infrastructure that is the base of our customer-facing solutions. Including new data‑layers, visualization tools and frameworks, etc.
• Build and maintain supporting processes – work on supplementary processes, for either internal use (e.g. automations in fund‑data processing) or customer/projects specific needs (e.g. individualized financial ratios calculations, data monitoring).
• Support – provide support to other FWW departments (Sales, Support) on the specifics of existing solutions and assess new requirements.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with SQL (focus on MariaDB and SQLite) as well as scripting languages – especially PHP and Bash (Unix shell).
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript and other web‑development languages.
• Experience with general Linux systems administration.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
