Join our dynamic, globally connected Finance IT team for our SHAPE+ transformation program and help shape the future of financial systems and processes at DHL. We are driven, curious and highly delivery oriented, operating in a highly visible, dynamic project environment.

Your tasks as IT Domain Architect Shape+

As IT Domain Architect Shape+ , you will be a key contributor to one of our most strategic IT initiatives: a comprehensive finance transformation program. This program is centered in the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Private & Public Cloud for Finance. In addition it spans across third‑party solutions and the replacement of legacy systems, in order to evolve Finance IT to a modern, SaaS‑based application landscape.

• Architecting the functional landscape by mapping business capabilities to system components across SAP RISE & GROW, 3rd party, and legacy platforms
• Ensuring end-to-end visibility of business capabilities and their execution across system components (Integrated Toolchain)
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to optimize finance value streams and design tailored IT solutions based on the SAP “Clean Core” architecture
• Defining and executing the Finance Platform Strategy, introducing innovative technologies while phasing out legacy systems
• Supporting the transition to new SaaS operating models, including integration, data ownership, and service management
• Leading architectural discussions with internal teams and external SaaS suppliers, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and compliance
• Creating and maintaining architecture documentation in line with IT GF Enterprise Architecture and SAP best practices
• Identifying architectural risks and opportunities, and driving resolution in alignment with program goals

Your profile

We are looking for a highly experienced and communicative professional who brings:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in large‑scale finance or ERP transformation programs
• Ability to see the big picture, mapping business capabilities to system components and ensuring architectural traceability
• Deep understanding of SAP ecosystems, third‑party integrations, and legacy systems, with a strong grasp of functional architecture principles
• Experience designing solutions for both SAP/4 HANA Private and Public Cloud environments
• Proven experience in SaaS transformation projects, including working with SaaS vendors and adapting to new operating models
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience in engaging with external suppliers and cross‑functional teams
• A structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented mindset and proven project management capabilities in leading SAP implementation projects
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
