IT Network Engineer (m/w/d)

For our European headquarters in Gersthofen, we are looking for an
IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)

What we expect

• Knowledge of Cisco and/or Fortinet networks, including VPN, wired/wireless, and fiber/DSL connectivity
• Experience supporting IT environments in medium to large production environments
• Several years of technical experience in IT infrastructure preferred
• Possession of a CCNA, Fortinet NSE 3 or equivalent qualification or active efforts to obtain one
• Solution-oriented team player (m/f/d) with strong communication skills
• Bachelor's degree, IT training or equivalent qualification
• Fluent in German and English (written/spoken)

What you can expect

• Evaluation, procurement, and provision of standardized IT infrastructure solutions
• Development, design, and implementation of Europe-wide standardized LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN, and carrier management solutions
• Implementation and maintenance of network hardware/devices and connectivity solutions
• Provision of 2nd-level support for European and, if necessary, global locations
• Operation and optimization of communication networks; monitoring of capacity, functionality, and availability statistics
• Management of capacity planning, disaster recovery, availability, and patch management
• Creation and maintenance of technical plans, inventories, and documentation
• Managing firewalls and ensuring network security in collaboration with a global IT security team
• Defining and adhering to technical standards for network hardware and software
• Collaborating with global experts and supporting European entities in the service and support portfolio
