IT Operations & Security Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations & Security Manager (m/f/d) to take full ownership of IT infrastructure, operations, and information security in Germany.

In this role, you will ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT operations while supporting business continuity in a fast-paced, operational environment.

This role can be based in Frankfurt or Munich.

Your Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Manage and optimize the IT Helpdesk and support structure
• Ensure efficient incident handling and high service quality
• Oversee the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure (network, systems, endpoints, SaaS)
• Define and improve monitoring, incident response, and escalation processes
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Security & Compliance

• Take responsibility for information security at country level
• Ensure implementation of security standards and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR)
• Manage access control, data protection, and security processes
• Coordinate and respond to security incidents

Network & System Stability

• Ensure stable and secure network operations across offices and operational sites
• Manage servers, endpoints, and network devices
• Maintain and improve system availability and performance

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop IT operations and security teams
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, HQ teams, and external vendors
• Manage IT-related projects, budgets, and service providers

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and/or IT security
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing responsibilities across infrastructure and security
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and high-availability environments
• Experience with incident management and root cause analysis
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and information security practices

Languages

• German and Chinese required
• English is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or fast-growing environments
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL
• Experience working in international organizations
