IT Operations System Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Responsibility for implementing IT services to ensure the continuous availability of the IT infrastructure.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability. Manage system configurations and updates to guarantee security and stability.

• Monitor and analyze IT services to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.

• Proactively coordinate and escalate incidents (incident management) and ensure rapid issue resolution.

• Administer and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Work closely with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth IT operations.

• Implement and monitor IT security policies and processes in accordance with applicable standards (ISO 27001 and C5T2 preferred).

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Experience working with common ticketing and monitoring tools
• Strong hands-on mentality
• Excellent analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach to work
• Outstanding communication skills and assertiveness
• Ability to work in a team, high level of commitment, and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written (minimum level C2)
• Very good English skills, both spoken and written (minimum level B2)
