Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an IT Risk Manager at the Universitätsklinikum Ulm, located in Ulm, Germany, with an option for partial remote work. The IT Risk Manager will oversee and implement IT risk management strategies, support regular IT audits, ensure business continuity plans are robust, and maintain IT governance standards across the organization. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the IT infrastructure to safeguard the organization's operations and contribute to its overarching goals.

Qualifications

• Expertise in IT Risk Management and familiarity with implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of IT Audit processes and ability to ensure compliance with required standards
• Experience with Business Continuity planning to ensure operational resilience
• Proficiency in IT Governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Strong technical foundation in Information Technology and its application to a healthcare environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Understanding of healthcare-specific IT challenges is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications in IT risk management or governance (e.g., CRISC) are advantageous
