IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) – Secure Network Infrastructure & Communication

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize secure IT infrastructure and communication systems
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, BSI, NIS2, and public-sector security standards
• Manage and harden on-premise and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Implement VPNs, MFA/2FA, and role-based access controls across the organization
• Secure endpoints and mobile devices through patching and monitoring
• Own Microsoft security tools: Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, M365, Defender for Endpoint
• Support incident response and prevent recurrence with pragmatic solutions

Your mission

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in IT security or Microsoft system administration
• Strong knowledge of VPNs, access management, and server security
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security ecosystem (Azure AD, Intune, Exchange, M365)
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, BSI, and classified communication standards (VSFD)
• Relevant certifications (MS-102, SC-300, AZ-500, MS-500) are a plus
• Nationality of a NATO member nation or close ally is a must
• Successful candidates will be required to obtain security clearance
