• Implementation of 2nd level support in direct customer contact
• Carrying out functional and performance tests
• Fault diagnosis/analysis and troubleshooting for hardware, software and network components; also virtualized
• Technical support for our customer on site
• Working on solutions in the field of telecommunications monitoring in high‑security data centers
• Provide ideas for our development department from your work experience
• Responsibility for the reference and test systems used
• Documentation of faults, solutions and IT processes
• Participation in the on‑call service
• Factory and on‑site acceptance of systems
• Completed studies (e.g. computer science, electrical engineering) or equivalent technical training and relevant professional experience in service
• Sound knowledge and confidence in dealing with Unix‑based operating systems, e.g. Red Hat, Rocky Linux, CentOS, AIX
• Sound knowledge of network technology, network storage, network security and network protocol analysis
• Sound knowledge of standardized transmission technologies and protocols in modern telecommunications and data networks
• Windows Server 2019 or newer – (an advantage)
• Knowledge of PVE, VMWare and/or Citrix (an advantage)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or Oracle) desirable
• Customer and service‑oriented action
• Structured, careful and independent work
• Willingness to undergo continuous further training
• German language skills at C2 level and good written and spoken English skills
• Class B driver's license
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
