Key Responsibilities:
Technical SupportProvide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, application malfunctions, and connectivity problems.Manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution within SLA.Hardware Installation and MaintenanceAssemble, configure, and install desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).Perform physical maintenance, including hardware upgrades and part replacements (e.g., RAM, SSD, motherboards).Crimp RJ45 cables, set up network ports, and manage physical network connections.Maintain and troubleshoot hardware issues related to blue screens, overheating, or system crashes.Software and System SupportInstall, update, and configure operating systems and applications (Windows, Linux, MacOS).Assist with MS Office Suite and cloud applications like Microsoft 365.Support email configurations, including MS Outlook and PST management.Network and InfrastructureConduct physical setup of routers, switches, and wireless access points.Test and monitor LAN/WAN connections, addressing connectivity issues.Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot and maintain wired/wireless networks.IT Asset ManagementMaintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (computers, network equipment, and peripherals).Perform audits and manage lifecycle tasks such as upgrades, redeployments, and decommissions.User SupportAssist users on-site with hardware/software issues and provide remote support when required.Conduct basic user training for IT tools and applications.Set up and manage user accounts and access permissions.
