Japanese Speaking Infrastructure System Engineer

A Japanese IT Company is currently recruiting an Infrastructure Engineer (IT Support). In this role, you will provide high-quality engineering services through telephone, email, online tickets, and in-person support for both on-site and remote day-to-day tasks. You will also handle system integration work in collaboration with colleagues and/or third-party engineers. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours/week (Occasional overtime or on-call support may be required)
SALARY: €50-55k
LOCATION: Dusseldorf

System Engineer Main Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for clients both on-site and off-site
• Perform accurate and timely diagnosis and rectification of system faults, ensuring prompt case resolution and maximum customer satisfaction
• Handle system integration, office relocation services, system installations, configurations, migrations, and removals for clients and internal systems
• Manage small system integration and office relocation projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project deliverables
• Collaborate with partners and provide outstanding customer service

Infrastructure System Engineer Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of technical support experience in the IT industry
• Administration experience with Windows services (AD, GPO, Printer, Shared Folders)
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows 10, iOS, and Android
• Basic knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Excellent communication skills with clients, end-users, vendors, and third parties
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
