We are searching for our customer in Bochum, Germany (in the heart of the Ruhrgebiet/ruhr area).

Key Points

• Full relocation package from your current country to Bochum, Germany.
• Salary: Up to €100,000 per year (including base salary of €91,000 + 10% bonus).
• No German language skills needed; proficient English skills are absolutely fine. The team language is English.
• MUST HAVE: Consolidation experience IFRS or US-GAAP – experience in preparing consolidated financial statements (preparing individual statements is NOT sufficient).

About the Role

As a Group Accounting Specialist, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, responsible for the consolidation and preparation of annual financial statements for our international group. You will work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for the entire group under IFRS.
• Prepare and review annual financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Provide insights and recommendations for financial improvements.

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience in group consolidation and financial reporting under IFRS or US‑GAAP.
• Extensive background in preparing annual consolidated financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German language skills are not required).
• Ability to adapt to a new environment and work effectively in a diverse team.
