WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Responsibility for risk management (safety management) in vehicle development projects
Creation of independent assessments of system safety
Moderation and coordination with specialist departments and customers
Presentation of results to internal and external stakeholders
Maintenance, development and communication of system safety processes and methods

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, natural sciences or comparable
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
Experience in project management
Military background an advantage
Knowledge of basic system safety standards and guidelines (MIL-STD-882E, IEC 61508) desirable
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
Moderation skills, independence and strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
Willingness to travel occasionally
