Pramex International is a cross-border business consulting firm and subsidiary of Groupe BPCE, France's second-largest banking group.
We assist our clients (mainly French SMEs and mid-cap companies) in formulating and executing their international development strategy, including setting up subsidiaries and expanding via acquisitions abroad. Our teams of experts, located in 14 countries and knowledgeable about the local specificities of the world's major markets, assist our clients in all matters relating to the creation and administrative management of their local subsidiaries (including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, payroll, human resources and administrative support).
We are currently looking for a junior consultant to join our German team (10 employees) based in Franckfurt.
Working closely with our team, you will play an active role in assisting our clients in all matters relating to the administrative management of their local subsidiaries including:
- Financial accounting (supplier accounts, customer accounts, bank accounts)
- Checking and recording of expense reports
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (general accounts)
- Preparing and submitting VAT and ZM summary returns
- Participating in the preparation of annual accounts in accordance with the HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Participating in the monthly payroll processing for clients in conjunction with the payroll firm
- Acting as the main point of contact for external parties (accountants, authorities, local partners, etc.)
- Direct communication with clients / Identification and resolution of our clients' questions and issues
- Involvement in various internal projects
Are you methodical, curious and comfortable with numbers? Here's what we expect from you:
- Training as a tax assistant (Steuerfachangestellte) or diploma in accounting / finance + a few years of experience (min. 3 years) in the field of accounting / financial services / consulting
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Experience in payroll and labour law is an asset
- Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in German + French or English (C1 level)
- Ability to learn quickly and excellent communication skills
- Reliability, autonomy, and efficiency with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines, even during busy periods
