The Junior Composite Technician is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on preparing materials and performing composite layup, vacuum‑bagging, curing, bonding, trimming, drilling, and finishing under the guidance of senior staff. They read basic technical drawings and work instructions, follow strict safety and FOD‑prevention practices, and maintain tooling, equipment, and environmental controls. They document process data and assist with in‑process inspections, nonconformity containment, and rework to meet quality standards. With a strong learning mindset and attention to detail, the role supports the safe, efficient, high‑quality manufacture and repair of composite structures and components while building proficiency in modern materials and processes.
