Junior DACH Accounts Manager

About the Company:

A fast-growing consumer goods company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven DACH Accounts Manager to manage and develop key accounts across the DACH region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in key account management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable revenue growth and strengthen relationships with leading retailers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Surpass sales budgets and drive revenue growth through close partnership strategies combined with 360° consumer-oriented sales and marketing approaches.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand & Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Channel/Industry Sales, After Sales, Compliance, Legal) to deliver on sales and profitability targets.
  • Develop and document business plans , including assessments, due diligence, promotional plans, forecasts, and P&L analysis.
  • Identify, launch, and lead efficiency projects within the DACH region to enhance operational performance.
  • Lead the creation and execution of annual forecasts, business plans, and multi-product promotional plans with key retailers.
  • Execute direct marketing tactics when required to support commercial objectives.
  • Own and update monthly sales forecasting plans , ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor daily performance by market, product, and retailer to ensure targets are met and opportunities are identified early.
  • Manage promotional activity to maximize ROI and plan well in advance for key commercial events.
  • Act as a market expert , understanding products, customers, and consumers while analyzing competitors’ pricing, products, and positioning to guide retailers toward competitive strategies.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding and management of account P&L , driving both growth and profitability.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Key Account Management or Business Development in the DACH region.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly analytical and results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM and business management tools.
  • Fluency in English and German .
  • Willingness to travel across the DACH region.
