Our Marketing Technology (“Martech”) team is creating data-driven solutions that revolutionize and facilitate how Marketing & CRM operate enabling real-time personalization, campaign performance optimization, and marketing attribution. This involves data feeds, business insights, customer analytics, and machine learning models, along with other data products pushing marketing performance and automation.

Junior Data Engineer (m/f/d) - Martech

Your Responsibilities

• You contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of batch and streaming data pipelines
• You work with the product manager and other data engineers to enhance our AWS-based data platform adopting functional programming best practices and utilizing Apache Spark
• You support data scientists and marketing stakeholders in operationalizing and scaling machine learning models that leverage our data
• You build analytical workflows (e.g. customized user experiences, personalisation, automated A/B testing) using SQL, Scala, and Python
• You contribute to data quality validation, and monitoring solutions to ensure reliability and trust in our data products
• You take part in implementing POCs that bring data and business users closer

Your Profile

• You hold a university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
• You have solid programming skills in Python and a JVM-based language like Scala
• You are fluent in SQL, and familiarity with Apache Spark is a plus
• You are familiar with concepts of modern data lake architecture and the fundamentals of Data Engineering
• You have experience with AWS or any other cloud provider (preferred)
• You are fluent in English
