rpc was founded in 2013 as a joint venture between the BMW Group and H&Z Unternehmensberatung AG and operates in ten countries with over 400 employees.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration on projects ranging from data strategy, explorative data analysis and structured data preparation for specific technical questions to the implementation of machine learning models
• Conception and implementation of innovative data science solutions to create business and economic value for our customers in the automotive sector and beyond
• Checking data availability and reliability as well as processing, analyzing, preparing and visualizing data
• Linking business and IT perspectives by translating customer requirements into suitable data science concepts and adapting the analytical approach to customer needs
• Advising our customers on advanced analytics use cases and data potential / feasibility
• Preparing and presenting analysis results for technical and functional stakeholders and deriving interpretations and recommendations for action

Qualifications

• Academic degree e.g. in computer science, data science, business informatics, applied mathematics, statistics
• Enthusiasm for deriving insights from data, answering questions analytically and data-driven, and preparing results for various target groups
• Initial practical experience in the application of data science solutions (e.g. in the CRM or sales steering environment)
• Methodological knowledge of mathematical-statistical procedures, data visualization, time series analysis and/or machine learning
• Familiarity with Python and common Python libraries (pandas, numpy, etc.); SQL; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data infrastructure is an advantage
• Highly solution-oriented analytical mindset and engaging demeanor; structured, customer-oriented approach; ideally experience in management consulting
• Team player with an independent working style and willingness to learn new topics
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
