(Junior) Group Controller (m / f / d)

Corporate Controlling is responsible for overall analyses and preparation of results on the development of sales, costs and earnings of the Helm Group, business units and participations and acts as a business sparring partner. It supports the planning, controlling and management function, the company management and the respective responsible executives.

For our Group Controlling Team, based in Hamburg, we are looking for a motivated (Junior)Group Controller (m / f / d).

Your tasks :

• In this role, you will be responsible for the support, implementation and further development of the HELM Group's reporting, with a focus on management reporting and the BI tool.
• You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports at group level, as well as providing standard and ad hoc analyses for the management board, executive management and other company divisions.
• In addition, you will coordinate the annual planning and the planning processes at group level as well as the forecast and the associated reporting – including the support and further development of the HELM Group's planning instruments and processes.
• Your responsibilities will also include the preparation of decision papers and board meetings as well as the creation of presentations at group level.
• Moreover, you are responsible for compliance with defined standards and the further development of reporting.

Your profile :

• You have a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling / finance or a comparable qualification.
• Thanks to your initial professional experience in the field of controlling and with controlling systems, you also have in-depth knowledge and expertise in controlling-related topics (finance, group controlling, project controlling, budgeting, fundamentals of cost control).
• You have an excellent understanding of BI applications and are proficient in Excel. In addition, you have professional user knowledge in dealing with SAP FI / CO or other ERP systems. Project experience in the support of SAP CO modules is also an advantage.
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a proactive mindset and hands‑on mentality.
• You are also open to new topics.
• Fluent German and English round off your profile.
