Key Responsibilities

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Manager Finance & Controlling (m/f/d) to support and further develop the financial performance of our hotel portfolio. Working closely with hotel management and group leadership, this role contributes to sound financial planning, transparent reporting, and effective controlling processes across 1912 Hotels’ European operations.

What is in it for you:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting at both property and group level
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for individual hotels and the overall group
• Monitor and manage liquidity across properties, ensuring sufficient cash flow and optimal working capital
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and prepare variance and ad-hoc reports
• Work closely with hotel managers to understand operational KPIs, cost structures, and performance drivers
• Maintain, optimize, and further develop internal controlling tools, reports, and dashboards
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Support cross-functional financial analyses and special projects as required

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• First practical experience in controlling, finance, or accounting (internships or 1–2 years of experience)
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting or BI tools (e.g., DATEV, LucaNet, Power BI) is a plus
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus but not required
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
• Strong interest in the hospitality industry combined with a hands-on mentality
