Junior Operations Analyst

The role:

You will be responsible for setting up, running, and improving day‑to‑day operational processes from scratch. This role combines execution, data ownership, and process design, working closely with founders, production, and finance as volumes increase.

Sourcing & procurement

• Identify and onboard suppliers for raw materials, consumables, and services
• Create and manage purchase orders, pricing comparisons, and lead times
• Build basic procurement processes, templates, and supplier tracking

Inventory management & forecasting

• Set up and maintain inventory tracking for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Build simple demand and inventory forecasting models
• Monitor stock levels, expiry, and working capital exposure

Distribution & logistics

• Establish outbound logistics processes with external partners
• Coordinate shipments, delivery schedules, and documentation
• Track logistics performance and costs as volumes scale

Process building & scaling

• Design and document operational workflows as production and sales grow
• Build spreadsheets, dashboards, and KPIs for operational visibility
• Continuously improve processes to increase reliability and efficiency

What you need to suceed:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in operations, supply chain, engineering, business, economics, or similar
• 0–2 years of experience via internships, working student roles, or entry‑level positions
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working with operational data
• High ownership mindset and ability to work independently without existing structures
• Structured, detail‑oriented working style
• German & English is required
• Build core operations from the ground up
• Early responsibility with direct impact on production and revenue
