Noxon GmbH

Junior Product Engineer Wearables (Full Time) Munich, Germany

Stellenbeschreibung:

Job Description

NOXON is a Munich based MedTech startup founded in 2022 with the vision to transform muscle health on every skin. Guided by our purpose—moving what matters—we build technology that improves lives. OCIAN is our medical wearable system that translates muscle signals into meaningful movement guidance. We believe in ownership, logic and strong partnerships over perceived limits, and that extraordinary results come from people willing to go the extra mile.

We are hiring a full‑time Product Engineer to work directly with the CTO on the most critical technical challenges across our engineering stack. This role is designed for exceptional technical generalists who thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and enjoy tackling difficult problems to build systems that work in the real world.

Your Main Tasks

  • Dive into complex technical challenges across software, hardware, and data systems, helping shape architecture decisions and ensuring reliable system integration.
  • Evaluate trade‑offs between technical rigor, regulatory constraints, and business requirements.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional technical efforts and help translate complex topics into clear decisions and execution plans.
  • Contribute to validation testing, technical documentation, and regulatory preparation when required.

Must‑Have Qualifications

  • Outstanding academic performance in engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong curiosity and drive to deeply understand how complex systems work.
  • Hands‑on technical projects that you have built independently and outside university.
  • Ability to quickly learn new domains, structure complex problems, and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
  • Comfort working across disciplines such as hardware, software, data, and system design.

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

  • Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, IoT devices, machine learning, signal processing, data analysis, CAD tools, or mechanical design.
  • Exposure to regulated environments such as medical devices.
  • Project management or technical coordination experience.

Benefits

  • Real ownership with direct product impact in a fast moving, high standards team.
  • Building technology that improves people’s muscle health.
  • Culture with an ambitious team where your contribution is visible and valued.
  • Trust‑based working hours, access to lab equipment and offices where you can shape your own workspace.
  • Steep learning curve with the freedom and responsibility to explore ideas, run experiments, and turn promising directions into real product improvements.
  • Deep exposure to system architecture, medical device development, and cross‑disciplinary engineering.

What sets you apart

  • You take end‑to‑end ownership and thrive in environments where you take responsibility for quality and reliability of your outcomes.
  • You are a strong technical generalist who can move across disciplines and dive deep when needed.
  • You think fast and act with intent. You quickly grasp complex problems, make sound decisions under uncertainty, and keep long‑term impact in mind.
  • You are a builder at heart: you prototype, iterate, and turn ideas into real systems that solve meaningful user problems.
  • You start with the user. Technical excellence matters to you because it enables meaningful outcomes for real users.

How to apply

Are we a match? If you bring high passion, talent, and the ambition to perform at a high level, we will meet you at the extra mile. Send us in PDF your CV, cover letter, and a portfolio of technical projects you have built outside of university.
