Job summary

Key Account Manager Oncology South Germany (German is mandatory)

The Key Account Manager’s role is to promote the Sun Pharma portfolio starting with a monoclonal Antibody in the bone metabolism, to identify key accounts, and establish partnerships with key Health Care Professionals in oncology (multiple myeloma, orthopedic oncology and treatment of bone loss associated with tumors) and stakeholders in clinics. The Key account manager is responsible for achieving sales and related performance targets in the region of South Germany and will reporting to the head of hospital and complex generics.

The Key account manager’s objectives are to build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and leverage customer insights in order to develop strategies and solutions, which will facilitate access to the Sun Pharma Complex Generics/ Biosimilar Portfolio. Collaboration with local HCPs will be key to ensuring appropriate and ethical prescribing of our medications.

All activities and skills have to be carried out in the context of pharmaceutical regulations, legal obligations and in line with the company’s strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to comply with sales force effectiveness KPIs and sales achievement vs budget.
  • You will be responsible for the identification and management of the decision-making within specialized HCPs and regional hospitals to ensure access to Sun Pharma’s products.
  • You will become an expert and ambassador for Sun Pharma’s complex generics and biosimilar products.
  • You will organise in meetings within specialized HCPs and onco clinics to promote Sun Pharma’s products.
  • You will represent Sun Pharma at regional, national and regional congresses.
  • You will develop key account plans based upon national and regional objectives (targeting, objectives and activities ...).
  • You will prepare activity reports to ensure successful delivery of the Key Account Plans.
  • You will ensure KAM expenses are within approved budget.
  • You will analyse results and profitability in relation to the pre-set objectives and you will implement corrective actions to ensure delivery of sales targets.
  • You will be responsible for competitive intelligence and regular feedback to your supervisor.
  • You will build professional relationships with (key) opinion leaders, prescribers and hospital stakeholders.
  • You will participate in Continuing Medical Education, Professional Relations, National Congresses and / or Postgraduate Education events.
  • You will adhere to EU and compliance rules.
  • You will collect, analyse and transmit requests and information to the departments concerned incl. Medical, Marketing & Market Access etc.

Information about the profile of the candidate

  • You will hold at least a Master Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • You have experience and knowledge of local market access.
  • You have a minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferable within the field of Oncology at established private HCP practices and in a hospital environment.
  • You are native in German and advanced knowledge in English.
  • You can act within a scientific environment.
  • You are experienced in planning national symposia and congresses.
  • You have a good level of knowledge of MS office and Windows based computer applications.
  • You are able to travel extensively in your area with occasional visits to Leverkusen, head offices for Germany.
  • Fully valid driving license.

Education and training

Given the dynamics of the Sun Pharma organization, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate a pro-active attitude, i.e. he/she must contribute actively to the program content and share responsibility for the program’s implementation in line with the plan for the introduction program.
