Job Title: Key Account Manager - Security Hardware & MIM Solutions (Europe-based)

  • Expertise in Metal Injection Molding (MIM) - We specialize in MIM manufacturing, capable of producing high‑performance parts ranging from 0.1g to 800g, with tolerances as tight as ±0.05mm. We are seeking an accomplished business development professional with deep expertise in security hardware to drive our market expansion and promote Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology adoption across Europe. Based in Germany, you will lead our new client acquisition strategy while strengthening relationships with existing partners. This is a high‑impact role designed for a results‑driven expert who excels in identifying opportunities and converting them into long‑term partnerships.

  • MIM Technology Promotion & Business Development
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to promote Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology adoption within the European security hardware industry
  • Identify and target potential clients who can benefit from transitioning to MIM technology for enhanced product performance and cost efficiency
  • Conduct technical workshops and presentations to educate clients on MIM advantages over traditional manufacturing methods
  • Develop case studies and success stories demonstrating MIM applications in security hardware products
  • New Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the security hardware sector, focusing on MIM technology applications
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic networking at industry events and targeted outreach campaigns
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging players and MIM application opportunities in locks, access control systems, and architectural hardware
  • Strategic Account Management & Growth
  • Serve as the primary technical and commercial interface for both existing and prospective clients in Europe's security hardware market
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize MIM technology adoption and revenue growth
  • Identify opportunities to convert traditional manufacturing projects to MIM‑based solutions
  • Technical Consulting & Solution Development
  • Leverage your deep understanding of both security hardware and MIM technology to advise clients on design optimization and manufacturing process improvement
  • Lead technical discussions on MIM advantages including design freedom, material properties, and production efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop innovative MIM solutions for complex security hardware components
  • Proven Business Development Track Record : 10+ years in technical sales, business development, or key account management within security hardware or related industries
  • MIM Technology Knowledge : Strong understanding of Metal Injection Molding technology and its applications in security hardware manufacturing
  • Sales Achievement History : Documented experience in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and expanding market presence
  • Industry Network : Established relationships with key decision‑makers at leading security hardware companies including ABUS, EVVA, GEZE, FSB, Gretsch‑Unitas, or comparable industry leaders
  • Technical Expertise : Comprehensive understanding of metal component manufacturing processes with specific knowledge of MIM applications
  • Language Requirements : Full professional proficiency in German and English
  • Exceptional technical presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate MIM technology benefits
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong analytical and business planning capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated success in promoting new technologies
  • Ability to bridge technical and commercial requirements between clients and manufacturing teams
  • Self‑motivated with proven ability to drive technology adoption in new markets
  • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field
  • Direct experience with MIM technology implementation or sales
  • Knowledge of European security standards and certification requirements
