Lab Research Scientist - Liquid Development (all genders) - temporary 2 years

About the role

As a Lab Research Scientist in Liquid Development, you will contribute to hands‑on laboratory work supporting the development, testing, and improvement of liquid consumer products. You will work closely with scientists, technicians, and project teams to generate reliable data, support scale‑up activities, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and documentation throughout the development process.

This role is well suited for a technically skilled laboratory professional who enjoys practical experimentation, structured work, and continuous improvement in an industrial R&D environment.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and materials in line with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Perform laboratory experiments, including sample preparation, analytical testing, performance evaluations, and stability testing
• Follow and apply SOPs to ensure accurate documentation, reproducibility of results, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support pilot and industrial trials as well as product scale‑up activities along the supply chain
• Conduct competitive product testing and comparative performance analyses
• Document, analyse, and present experimental results, highlighting findings, deviations, and improvement opportunities

The experience we're looking for

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or a comparable technical qualification
• Practical experience with laboratory techniques and routine experimental work
• Knowledge of technologies, manufacturing processes, and analytical methods relevant to liquid product development
• Basic understanding of R&D development processes and technical documentation
• Proficiency in German and working knowledge of English
