Laboratory Sales Engineer – Material Science

Are one of the world’s premium brands involved in the research, manufacturing & distribution of high-end analytical laboratory instrumentation & capital equipment used within pharma, scientific research and food/beverage production. Employing over 5000 people across 100 countries, they’ve recently completed a new multi‑million, state‑of‑the‑art Product Development Centre now home to several hundred research engineers & scientists, focused on the development of next‑generation analytical laboratory technologies. They’re well established in Ireland and are looking to appoint a Field Sales Engineer to manage a territory across Munster & South Leinster.

The Role

Will involve ownership of all key accounts within the territory, day to day will involve managing complex, highly technical sales cycles into above industry sectors. Products including particle sizing, spectroscopy, xray / xrd & related technologies (full product training provided).

Along with day-to-day support of existing customers, the position will also involve new business pursuits, regular site-based presentations and marketing activity – attending tradeshows, conferences & exhibitions. Keen to speak to individuals with a relevant scientific qualification, previous sales experience, strong influencing skills, with a high level of personal drive & motivation. Full Drivers license required.
