Laboratory Technician - Dortmund & Region

Biolyz is a saliva-based biomarker testing solution. We provide daily saliva testing with a 24h analysis timeline for over 125+ biomarkers. We leverage biomarkers to predict injuries and performance for athlete teams. Based in Austria, we collaborate with top football clubs and high-level sports organizations, offering a fast-paced, innovative environment where your expertise can have a real impact.

Company Overview

We are a fast expanding startup with expertise in biomarker analysis, serving to augment sports performance and optimize health. We are actively seeking a lab tech for sample prep in NRW to bring their unique blend of talents to our dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities

• Sample preparation in a state-of-the-art laboratory with many automated processes
• Handling and processing biological samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Active contribution to laboratory quality management system
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment used in sample preparation, including automated systems
• Record keeping of experiments conducted in the laboratory
• Working in shifts with variable working hours and weekend duties

Your Profile

• Highly precise and meticulous working style
• Strong time management skills and efficient task organization
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks, with a high level of focus and endurance
• Ability to complete tasks in short notice
• Completed training as a laboratory technician with experience or
• Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related field
• Ideally, experience with Perkin Elmer liquid handler systems.
• German Driver\'s Licence Class B (or equivalent) required

The Pay Range For This Role Is

35,000 - 40,000 EUR per year (Dortmund)
