WHO ARE ILOS?
ILOS is a fast-growing renewable energy company with a strong presence across Europe, backed by AXA IM Alts and committed to accelerating the energy transition. Since 2018, we have developed, built, and operated large-scale solar PV projects across seven core markets.
THE ROLE OVERVIEW
Own a land pipeline for utility-scale solar at ILOS in Germany. Convert high volumes of inbound landowner leads into notarised option / lease agreements, map the permitting path with municipalities, and drive grid connection with DSOs / TSOs. Be our trusted face on the ground to build relationships, negotiate terms, and partner with Legal, Development, Engineering, and Finance to deliver bankable, grid-ready sites.
TASKS
- Seeking out, qualifying and converting high volumes of inbound landowner leads into option / lease agreements, managing the full lifecycle from first contact to notarisation.
- Assess sites, outline the permitting path with municipalities, and flag constraints.
- Drive the grid-connection workstream: liaise with DSOs / TSOs, request and track connection offers, align cable routes / easements, and manage milestones to award.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with landowners, local officials, and community stakeholders; represent the company credibly at meetings and site visits.
- Negotiate commercial terms coordinating with legal through to execution.
- Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Finance to deliver bankable sites (titles, surveys, environmental checks, access / ROW).
PROFILE
- 2–3+ years in land acquisition for renewables (solar / wind / BESS) or comparable real-estate site acquisition, with a track record to contract signature.
- Solid grasp of German planning & permitting for greenfield energy projects; comfortable with Grundbuch (title), cadastre, and due-diligence checklists.
- Working knowledge of grid-connection processes and terminology; experience engaging network operators and managing applications to offer.
- Fluent German (spoken and written) and be a persuasive communicator and negotiator with landowners and public authorities; professional, trustworthy presence.
- Field-sales mindset: resilient, target-oriented, and willing to travel frequently.
