LAND ACQUISITION MANAGER (W/M) - GERMANY

My client, a leading developer in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager to support the growth of solar PV and battery energy storage projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of clean energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure suitable land for solar and BESS projects across designated regions.
• Negotiate lease or purchase agreements with landowners and stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, including environmental, grid connection, and regulatory considerations.
• Utilize GIS and CAD tools to assess land suitability and prepare site layouts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local authorities, and communities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project development from acquisition through to construction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in land acquisition, ideally within renewable energy (solar/BESS) or infrastructure projects.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of planning regulations, permitting processes, and grid connection requirements.
• Proficiency in GIS and CAD software for site analysis and mapping.
• Fluent in German (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
