About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader for Mobile App Development to join our team in Aachen. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our Android and iOS development teams, overseeing the development, testing, and deployment of our mobile applications. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative features that meet the evolving needs of our users. You will coordinate cross-platform processes, implement modern development methodologies, and foster a culture of technical excellence within your team. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of experience in leading development teams, preferably within the mobile app domain. A strong technical background in Android and iOS development, with proficiency in Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C, is essential. Candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of API integration and experience with quality assurance practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with UX/UI principles and the ability to optimize user experiences on mobile devices are also important. Fluency in German (C1 level) and good command of English are required to effectively collaborate within our international team.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the Android and iOS development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Maintaining high standards of code quality through regular code reviews, implementing automated tests, and managing release cycles.

• Collaborating closely with product management, design, and other development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrating new technologies, APIs, and tools to enhance the user experience and functionality of our mobile applications.
• Monitoring project progress, managing timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
