We’re Hiring: Lead Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer who enjoys combining hands‑on development with team leadership. In this role, you’ll guide a small team of engineers while actively contributing to building and improving a modern software platform.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–6 engineers through 1:1s and continuous feedback
• Drive hiring processes, conduct interviews, and onboard new team members
• Act as a technical sparring partner through code reviews and pair programming
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform evolution
• Build and ship features across backend and frontend
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership on product direction and user experience
• Ensure quality through testing, QA, and clean, maintainable code

Qualifications:

• 6+ years as a Software Engineer (ideally at Staff level)
• Strong full‑stack experience with Ruby on Rails
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, MVC frameworks, and TDD
• Proven leadership experience (formal or informal)
• Passion for clean code and thorough testing
• Strong communication skills and fluent English (C1+)
