Lead Data Architect

FLUENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH

We are seeking a Lead Data Platform Architect to design and lead modern data platforms that enable advanced analytics and AI solutions. You will define scalable, secure architectures, translate complex decisions for stakeholders, and guide teams from concept through production.

You will operationalise machine learning and data solutions with strong governance, observability, and DevOps practices, working across cloud and on-premise environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will also contribute to service development, pre-sales, and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect data platforms for analytics, ML, and AI use cases
• Lead data engineering and platform design decisions
• Deploy solutions across cloud and on-prem environments
• Ensure production-ready ML with traceability and reproducibility
• Advise clients and stakeholders on data-driven transformation
• Mentor teams and contribute to offering development

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in data and platform architecture
• Deep knowledge of data engineering and ML fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with relational, NoSQL, and analytical databases
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
