As a Lead Data Consultant, you will act as experienced consultant on client projects while guiding others and advancing our data capabilities. You will play a key role in designing and implementing modern, scalable data architectures in cloud environments, driving end-to-end delivery, and shaping future-ready data solutions for clients across industries — with a focus on financial services and insurance. Your Tasks:Support pre-sales and proposal development with your expert know-howEnhance your client network, prepare and conduct client pitchesLead the design and implementation of state of the art data platforms that are secure, scalable, and aligned with client needsAct as a trusted advisor for clients, translating business goals into sustainable data solutionsTake ownership of the data workstream within cross-functional consulting projectsGuide and mentor consultants and data engineers, fostering their development and project impactContinuously deepen your expertise in modern data architectures through hands-on project work and innovation initiativesContribute to internal best practices, capability building, and knowledge sharing across the Data & AI team Your ProfileStrong consulting background with hands-on project experience designing and delivering data solutionsDeep technical understanding of modern data architecture principles (e.g., ELT, data mesh, data lakes, security & governance)Experience in building robust data pipelines and integrations using tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, or similarFamiliarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their respective data servicesStrong communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership skills in guiding teams, mentoring peers, and taking ownership of workstreamsFluent in English, German is a plusA proactive, curious mindset and a passion for continuously evolving in the Data & AI space Interested?
