As a Lead Developer (80–100%) , you’ll be part of a team that doesn’t just think big, but also makes things happen. If you’re motivated to help shape an ambitious ETH spin‑off that combines sustainability and AI, then you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Tasks

You’ll take ownership of our technical foundation and guide a small but highly skilled development team (3–6 people). You’ll combine hands‑on full‑stack coding with technical leadership , ensuring that our platform remains scalable, robust, and future‑ready as we expand into new markets.

• Lead the technical development of our SaaS platform - from concept to deployment
• Shape and evolve the software architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Mentor the development team, fostering clean code, knowledge sharing, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate user needs into technical solutions
• Coordinate technical priorities with the CTO and founders
• Oversee code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, ideally in SaaS, data, or AI-driven platforms
• Strong skills in TypeScript/Angular, Node.js , and cloud‑based architectures (Azure or AWS)
• Proven experience in leading small engineering teams or mentoring developers
• A structured, pragmatic mindset — you know when to build fast and when to build for the long term
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Preferably based in Switzerland or Germany (hybrid or remote with occasional workshops), or in Egypt , where part of our engineering team works (remote‑friendly, on‑site workshops with the Egypt team).

Bonus

• Interest in architecture , BIM , and sustainability in the built environment
• Several members of our tech team are based in Egypt. Experience collaborating with teams across the MENA region, or familiarity with the culture is a plus
