We’re working with a leading European contractor delivering hyperscale data centre projects. They’re looking for a Mechanical Lead to take responsibility for mechanical delivery across a defined area or system scope.

You’ll sit between the Mechanical PM and the site teams — driving coordination, programme, and quality on the ground.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading mechanical delivery across a defined project area or system scope
• Coordinating subcontractors, supervisors and engineers
• Driving programme through short-term planning and lookaheads
• Ensuring installation meets quality, safety and compliance standards
• Managing interfaces with CSA, Electrical and other trades

You’ll play a key role in:

• BIM coordination and resolving technical issues
• Preparing systems for testing and commissioning
• Supporting flushing, pressure testing and system validation
• Driving snagging and close-out to handover readiness

What they’re looking for:

• Mechanical Engineering background
• 4–7 years’ experience on large-scale construction projects
• Strong HVAC / chilled water / ventilation systems knowledge
• Experience leading teams or owning areas of delivery
• Exposure to commissioning or project close-out

Data centre experience is beneficial, but not essential.
