About the Team
At DeepL, our wider Sales team is a cornerstone of market expansion and customer engagement. As part of this team you will be the local technical expert and strategic advisor to our customers, bridging the gap between DeepL’s technical features and the customer’s desired outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, mapping DeepL's Language AI and Voice platform to customer business goals and integration needs.
- Lead technical discovery and deliver highly tailored demos, presentations and prototypes that showcase DeepL integration into enterprise environments.
- Design, scope and execute POCs and proof‑of‑value engagements across DeepL's full Language AI platform – including Voice for Meetings, Conversations and API – demonstrating how DeepL fits into complex enterprise workflows.
- Partner with Account Executives throughout complex sales cycles, providing expert guidance on APIs, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), real‑time streaming and enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, surfacing feedback and market insights to Product and Engineering teams to help shape roadmap priorities.
- Build and maintain a library of enablement resources – demo environments, best‑practice guides and technical collateral.
Qualities We Look For
- 10+ years of client‑facing technical experience in a Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering or Pre‑Sales role at a SaaS or AI company.
- Proven track record of designing solutions, building technical credibility with prospects and impacting deal closure.
- Strong technical foundation across REST APIs, authentication and SSO frameworks (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Azure AD) and common SaaS integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage and influence diverse stakeholders from IT architects to C‑suite executives.
- Enthusiasm for AI and language technology and curiosity about how voice AI, LLMs and translation are reshaping enterprise communication.
- Alignment with DeepL's mission: making high‑quality language technology accessible to organisations worldwide.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German, French, Spanish or Dutch is a plus.
