Lean Manager for Global Manufacturing (Kaufering, Germany)

As a Lean Manager you will lead change and innovation across Hilti’s global manufacturing network. Working under the Global Manufacturing leadership team at HQ you will coach and upskill the organization on Lean principles, support complex lighthouse projects, and drive continuous improvement worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and upskill cross‑functional teams on Lean methods to a Lean mindset.
• Design, and maintain Lean programs, systems and platforms with business and global process managers.
• Facilitate value stream projects, Kaizen workshops and problem‑solving workshops globally.
• Assess sites using the Hilti Lean Assessment, create roadmaps and drive the next 12‑18 months of Lean transformation.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, inventory optimisation, production flow and warehouse/distribution management within the plant and across the global production network.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration or a relevant degree.

• Extensive experience leading Lean implementation (line or project) across an enterprise in an international environment.
• Demonstrated skills in value stream mapping, Kaizen workshops, root‑cause analysis and driving Lean transformation projects.
• Experience coaching and training others on Lean from a central role.
• Strong business acumen, effective communication and stakeholder management.
