Lecturer Business Administration Software Engineering (m/f/d)

Full time position to teach software engineering courses at IU International University. Start date , 18 teaching units.

Responsibilities

• You teach fundamental knowledge with high practical relevance, e.g. for the topics software development lifecycle, requirements engineering, software quality assurance and team-based software projects.
• You design courses using high-quality teaching materials provided based on the coursebook.
• You conduct practical teaching sessions and tutorials on-site and promote an active and interactive learning process.
• You support dual students in combining theory and practice and contribute to their personal and professional development.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Practical work experience in the relevant subject area.
• Initial experience in academic teaching (e.g., tutor, teacher, lecturer, research assistant).
• Strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education and enjoy working with students.
• English language skills at C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
