Opportunity

For our Legal team, we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join us on a 2-year fixed-term contract (maternity cover) .

Your responsibilities

• Preparation, review, analysis, adaptation, interpretation, and negotiation of various commercial contracts: licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, services agreements, statements of work/services, NDAs, partnership agreements, supplier agreements, data protection agreements, DORA annexes, etc.
• Providing advice to the various business units on legal topics and business topics with potential legal implications – not only what is legal, but also what is smart and optimal from business point of view.
• Playing a key role in the risk management processes by identifying, reporting, and assessing risks with legal implications and offering suggestions for risk mitigation and risk avoidance.
• Dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and acting as a partner to the business units.
• Work with and support HR, accounting, security, and compliance when needed.

What you bring to the table

• Master’s degree in law, fluent English (written and spoken) and a very strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility is a must.

• has 2-4 years of relevant experience in a legal department or a law firm,
• is fast and eager learner with attention to detail and interest in technology,
• has proactive attitude and self-motivation,
• is results oriented and able to meet deadlines,
• speaks Spanish (optional).
