Linux Systems Administrator

We are looking for a cross‑domain specialist to design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment supporting the U.S. Federal Government.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS) servers.
• Manage virtual machines and VMware ESXi environments.
• Configure Linux firewalls, networking, DNS, and performance monitoring.
• Turn network metrics into actionable information for customers.
• Identify and implement infrastructure improvements and modernized network solutions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS.
• Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of Linux firewalls, networking configuration, and DNS.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of systems administration experience, or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification within 60 days.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience using IaC tools (Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Python programming skills.
• Knowledge of bi‑directional network transfer systems.
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification.

Compensation

Projected range: $77,500.00 – $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary determined by location, experience, and other factors.
