Job purpose Senior enterprise leader responsible for building, governing, and scaling an internal White Glove capability that sits agnostically across the DHL organization. The role does not own end-to-end delivery, but enables DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain, and other business units to deploy consistent, premium, mission-critical White Glove services transactionally, where required by customer needs. The mandate is to industrialize White Glove as an enterprise capability, defining standards, talent, tools, and governance, while remaining cost-neutral to individual business units, unless White Glove is positioned as part of an integrated One DHL end-to-end solution for core customers. A central objective of the role is to capture delivery learnings and reinvest them systematically to strengthen core capability, define the right balance between in-house and partner execution models, and shape the future development of the White Glove product across DHL. Over the longer term, the role evaluates market demand and customer requirements to determine the optimal path forward for White Glove at scaleassessing buy, build, or hybrid models to ensure DHL develops the most effective, scalable, and differentiated White Glove capability. Anchored in the Voice of the Customer, the role ensures premium service excellence can be delivered with discipline, consistency, and continuous improvement across the organization. Principal accountabilities Build and govern a White Glove enterprise capability that can be deployed by any BU. Define transactional engagement models for White Glove support across Forwarding, Express, and Supply Chain. Establish service standards, inclusions/exclusions, and certification requirements. Design a cost-neutral operating model for BU consumption of White Glove services. Enable One DHL end-to-end solutions by embedding White Glove where it creates customer value. Ensure White Glove services can be rapidly mobilized without duplicating capability across BUs. Act as the central owner of White Glove knowledge, training, tools, and playbooks. Define and track service quality, customer experience, and capability maturity metrics. Serve as escalation support for White Glove-critical incidents when required. Continuously refine the capability based on Voice of the Customer and delivery feedback. Enterprise Capability Building Designs and scales White Glove as a standardized internal capability available to all business units. BU-Agnostic Service Enablement Enables business units to deploy White Glove services transactionally without ownership conflicts. Governance & Standards Leadership Defines service scope, standards, certification, escalation, and quality controls. Cost-Neutral Operating Model Design Establishes transparent, cost-neutral funding and deployment mechanisms across BUs. One DHL Solution Enablement Supports bundling of White Glove into integrated, end-to-end solutions for strategic customers. Mission-Critical Service Discipline Ensures consistent execution where precision, security, and reliability are non-negotiable. Stakeholder Influence & Adoption Drives alignment and adoption across a complex matrix organization.Manage above in a matrix xBU environment across multiple stakeholders Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and ExperienceEnterprise-first mindset with strong neutrality and credibility. Proven experience building shared services or enterprise capabilities. Strong understanding of matrix organizations and BU-neutral operating models. Experience designing cost-transparent or chargeback-neutral service frameworks. Background in mission-critical, high-value, or regulated environments preferred. Comfortable operating without P&L ownership but with enterprise accountability.
