JOB DETAILS

Our client is an international organisation operating complex, high-volume logistics and distribution networks across Europe. As part of ongoing growth, they are looking to strengthen their operations leadership team with a mid-to-senior level Logistics Operations Manager.

This role sits at the centre of operational performance, focusing on efficiency, process improvement, and scalable logistics strategy. The environment is fast-paced and performance-driven, making it well suited to candidates with experience in large fulfilment operations such as e-commerce, automated warehousing, or Amazon-style logistics environments.

You will work closely with supply chain, warehouse, and commercial teams to ensure seamless flow across operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead day-to-day logistics operations across warehousing, fulfilment, and transport functions
• Drive process optimisation and operational efficiency through data and KPI analysis
• Manage relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support planning and capacity decisions to ensure scalable growth
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives across operational workflows
• Lead and develop teams to ensure consistent performance and standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational best practices

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years’ experience within logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain operations
• Experience in high-volume environments (e-commerce, distribution centres, industrial logistics)
• Strong operational leadership and team management capability
• Track record of improving workflows and performance metrics
• Experience working in data-driven operational environments
• Fluent English & German

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience in automated or highly systemised warehousing environments
• Exposure to international logistics or multi-site operations
• Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodology knowledge
• Experience working within manufacturing or industrial supply chains

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
• Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally
• Structured, solution-focused, and adaptable working style
